06 Oct RAFT RACE & FISHERMAN’S FRIENDS RETURN

Of hog roasts and high notes

A manic raft race, a hog roast on the beach, a barrel of Tribute, £700 for the Port Isaac carnival fund added up to a perfect day all round.

The Fishermens Friends performed on the Wednesday after the raft race. It was one of their first performances after their tragedy and we felt privileged to see them perform. A magical evening of song, poems, and limericks in the garden with a backdrop of a perfect sunset. So special it was almost spiritual.

The Fishermen’s Friends enjoyed it so much, they promised to return next year. Watch this space.
