Food at The Port Gaverne Restaurant & Hotel

At Port Gaverne, our menus have always changed by the season using ultra-fresh, coastal, no-ego food. But this spring we’re pushing the boat out further with weekly and sometimes daily changing menus with more specials on the blackboards and all our food sourced from Cornish suppliers. Your dishes will be cooked simply and with integrity by a team who love what they do and have learnt their trade under some of the UK’s top Michelin-star chefs.

We are surrounded by the most incredible, abundant food here in Port Gaverne, so when we say it’s ‘fresh as possible’ it means if we haven’t gone fishing off the rocks when the mackerel are in, we’ve got it off Jim’s boat 50 yards from our front door.

The wines

The Port Gaverne’s wine menu is eclectic, surprising and approachable. We want to cut through the fuss about wine and give you the chance to sample some great ones. So many of our rarer and more unusual wines are available by the glass or in half bottles.
